In the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, many buildings suffered varying degrees of damage. However, in some buildings where seismic braces are used, their seismic performance is significantly enhanced. These seismic supports effectively reduce the impact of earthquakes on buildings and reduce the degree of damage to buildings, thereby reducing economic losses and protecting people's lives.
